Meet Erin.

Because it's snowing and I'm feeling nostalgic for summer...

I have to say, I'm really excited about this. One, I'm obsessed with the name. Two, because, unlike my previous attempts at blogging, it has no actual point or purpose. Which means I get to do whatever I want, no pressure. Honestly though, I'm just excited to share. Oops. Introduction.

I'll start by saying how horrible I am at this. I get distracted so easily and my posts tend to ramble and get off topic. Big time. Like now, how I still haven't introduced myself or gotten to the point of this whole adventure…

That's just me, doing what I love most. 

My name is Erin and I'm at the lovely and exciting age of 22! My passion is dancing, and my one true love is my four year old Papillon, Mo. He's my best friend and quite possibly my soul mate.

I mean, just look at that face!

But seriously. Anyways, I'm the lead teacher in the infant room of a daycare and I absolutely love it! Most of the time. I'm majoring in Veterinary Technology, possibly-maybe-but-probably-not going to be an animal behaviorist someday. On top of work and school, I'm also a ballet instructor! And sometimes I find time to sleep.

I'm so tired of reading cookie-cutter, look-at-my-perfect-life blogs with, let's be honest, unrealistic ideas and advice. I've started on the typical white girl's journey of joining the gym and becoming health obsessed, so that should be fun. I'm also constantly looking for advice on how to budget myself and easy recipes, and I very rarely find anything I can actually use. I'm a broke college student trying in vain to start my grown-up life, so, not to bash their system, because it looks wonderful, but what works for a mama of four is definitely not going to help me any. So I'm gonna stumble my way through it on my own, and You, my new internet friends, can stumble along with me. We'll share some laughs, some cries (usually when we check my bank account), and we'll become grown-ups together.

I'd really like to write as often as I can, but given my past record, I don't have high expectations for myself. My apologies in advance. Also, keep in mind everything above, and forgive me if I don't post as often as you or I would like. Wish me luck, and PLEASE comment and interact! Let's be internet friends, since Mo is pretty much my only friend!
